Pulled right side off this afternoon.

Decided not to wait?

Well Tony, I picked at it and found it was unglued in several places. I was able to pull it off very easily. I figure get the big mess over with and do it all at once.

No, I don't think so. I think this is a cry for help. You love doing it, and you're probably worried about what to do when you finish #2. Don't worry, I'll let you change mine out too even though they're only 40 years old. You're welcome.

(You have enough 321 to do every Bonanza in Texas.)

Okay, props to Chris McPherson. After putting 321 on yesterday and covering with Saran Wrap I came in this morning and removed 90% of the glue with a simple pass of the brass brush. I did in 10 minutes that took 4 hours on the other side!!

So now I've coats the bottom and wrapped. I'm going to let it sit an hour or so while I tidy up and see how it goes. So goop on 321 the night before, cover in Saran, go home, come in next day for an easy cleanup!

Here is what you need to install Guy's wing root seals easily. I bought the nylon pry bar/scraper as a set at Harbor Freight. It was perfect to stuff the seals in the tighter areas.

Miracle Bubbles is some very slick stuff! My thinnest gap was probably 3/32", that 4 inches took a little bit but I was able to get it in.

Overall it took 1 hour to install both sides. Probably 40 minutes to do the right side first with the narrowest gap. The left side went fast as the learning curve is steep!

If someone would clean the wings and prep I wouldn't mind installing Guy's seals over and over. It is not a tough or tedious job. Now cleaning the old glue and getting the piece that is glued under the wing is a whole other story!

Very nice result. Also need brass brushes and metal picks.
