It was 10 years ago that I joined BeechTalk as a young 27-year-old entrepreneur from South Dakota with a passion for aviation. I had a growing family, and the Cessna 150 I had purchased when I was just out of college was just not going to work anymore. I began my hunt for a bigger plane to take on all kinds of adventures with my family. A 1948 Beechcraft Bonanza presented itself with an enticing opportunity from a business contact of mine. One flight in that polished beauty and I was hooked.
We started to fly our Bonanza on many fun family flights off our private grass strip. Trips for ice-cream in nearby towns, sightseeing in the evening across the Missouri River, and just up to burn gas and let the kids take the controls. We enjoyed it so much I needed to expand my knowledge base. I set out to find as much information as I could about the make and model and just what I was getting myself into. I was a new pilot, with a 100 hours and in way over my head. It’s likely the entrepreneur in me but I seem to actively seek opportunities to learn and grow. Searching the internet, it became apparent immediately where I needed to be...BeechTalk!
I joined BeechTalk in June of 2015, and the world of aviation opened to me. BeechTalk became a daily routine. Addicted, I started digging deep into the tens of thousands of posts of quality content. I made friends and I shared my passion for aviation and the Beechcraft brand. Passions have a funny way of becoming businesses. It wasn’t long before BeechTalk became more than just a forum to get information on my own airplane but an opportunity to sponsor and offer products to others that could help enhance their ownership and aircraft.
I became a BeechTalk sponsor in 2019 and began using the forum for commercial as well as personal endeavors. We became so committed to the brand we purchased a second Bonanza around this same time. A gorgeous 1964 S35 Bonanza with classic red/white/blue paint. My oldest son Beckham co-piloted the maiden flight home and got very cross with me when as he tells it... "Dad forgot to lock the door!" as it popped open shortly after takeoff.
Business for me is never far removed from my interests. My hobbies routinely become my business. When the opportunity presented itself to take the controls at BeechTalk my wife Jordan and I lifted off without hesitation. Again, in way over our heads but eager for another opportunity to learn. Jordan and I are a team in life and business. All our companies are “family business”. We work together and while she claims to be a stay-at-home Mom, I assure you without her energy and resilience I would not be able to accomplish anything. I am only able to do as much as I do because of her strength.
As we begin this journey as the new stewards of BeechTalk, I want to assure you that BeechTalk is a passion and priority for our family. Like “The Jeff’s” before us we very much want to ensure the success of BeechTalk in terms of member civility, welcomeness, and willingness to share knowledge. This forum has grown exponentially because of that success and it’s our intention to continue with those principles.
Our vision in operation is to support and enhance BeechTalk rather than implement any wholesale changes. We love this place and the community. It’s my hope that as my children begin their own aviation pursuits, they will join BeechTalk and begin sharing and growing their passions as well. That is the environment we intend to foster and protect. My family and I look forward to many years of operational success of BeechTalk.
We are overjoyed to have the opportunity to guide BeechTalk. I want to thank you all for being BeechTalk members and making this place special. I’m looking forward to connecting with you all and as always, if there’s anything you need don’t hesitate to ask. We are always happy to help. See you on BeechTalk soon!

Hello All!
I want to make my first post and introduce myself to you! I'm Jordan McPeck, Adams wife and biggest supporter. Like Adam has said, I am a stay at home mom to our 3 kids, homeschool teacher, photographer and "secretary" for our family! While my presence on the forum is nothing in comparison to my husbands, I can tell you that BeechTalk has been part of our families lives daily over the last decade, often times one of the kids saying "Dad is always reading something on BT"!
The community that BeechTalk has created is really amazing, even to me, a person who isn't a pilot....yet! The camaraderie and friendships that have been formed is really cool to see. I want to extend my heartfelt thank you to "The Jeffs" for creating such a unique community in the Aviation world! I know for my husband it has given him a place to "escape" and find people that love all things aviation as much as he does!
As a classic "mama bear" I am nervous, but mostly excited to watch our children grow up and learn to fly themselves. Our daughter Stella is a future aviatrix and she isn't shy to let you know she will be a pilot someday!
While you may not see me posting and interacting much on the forum, I will be handling day to day operations that keep BeechTalk running smoothly. I am excited to be the behind the scenes person for BeechTalk and look forward to someday meeting you, the members, who have made this community one that I'm excited to be a part of!
All my best, Jordan McPeck

Really glad that you guys decided to step up to the challenge. The Jeff's did a nice job creating this space, and it would be a great void if they were to shut it down... So Thanks.

Awesome, I think it will be good to have the forum owners so invested in the community again. Welcome to Jordan and congrats ( or maybe condolences ) to both of you!
