It's been a long time in the making, but today, the first day of 2017, Jeff and I are proud to announce a brand new forum website: https://www.airportnation.comThe idea behind this website was to create a more localized atmosphere to discuss your home airport. You will find at AirportNation a unique forum for every public airport in every state in the US. Simply click your state and find your airport in the list of airports for that state. Also, please note that we do not require the use of real names at AirportNation. If you would rather use a screen name than your real name, then you may do so at AirportNation. You are, of course, also welcome to use your real name there if you prefer. Lastly, many of you have wished for low user ids and charter member badges on BeechTalk. Well, that day has long passed, but you have a new opportunity for them at AirportNation. The earliest users that register for a new account and begin posting regularly will be granted Charter Member status. So without further ado, we welcome one and all to register and join us on AirportNation. Thank you!

It took me two tries, but I suspect that was that I was uncertain as to whether I was seeing a "0" or an "O" on the first try. Note also that the anti-spam challenge changes from iteration to iteration - you have to read what is being asked for carefully!

Sounds like a great Idea BUT-
I just tried setting up an account and it bounced 6 times as not entering the a valid confirmation number. I doubled checked it several times and still not working.

Just tried it again twice and it worked on the second try. The antispam here is going to be a problem for many.

I got in, but noticed the following: Page loads take considerably longer than BT, making it time consuming to do even basic navigation. iPhone pics are flagged as too big to upload, effectively blocking the ability to upload pictures (resizing...ain't nobody got time for that!). Neat idea...if it gets user traction, it could be a nice supplement to Foreflight comments, supplement airport info and issues discussion etc.

They need to fix their registration login e-mail software. It will not accept my name @q.com. Q.com is a valid host.

I have to wait an hour to try again, so Ill try that.
