It exists.

It's called "buy used".

If they had a single engine VLJ out now, I wouldn't buy it new. I'd wait a couple years and buy one with 100 hours on it.

Last issue of Flying Magazine had a 6 page article about J Mac McClellan flying the D-Jet. As I’ve stated before, I think the D-Jet is going to be a success in the GA market place.

Diamond has very strong financial resources as well as a solid name within general aviation.

I'll tell you what, I used to own a Piper Cheyenne and I bought it with the engines at TBO. I did a hot section and placed it on the MORE program. It was great. I think the same is a great idea for any turbo-prop if you want to go there. I just can't see buying anything new that depreciates like an airplane (or really a car for that matter).

Buy it with high time engines, sell it with high time engines, you don't lose anything.
