This is a friend of mines father, in the white flying suit after flying in the Brisbane to Adelaide Air Race in 1936. Does anyone know what type of plane it is, we don't but would love to get some idea. Attachment: Harry Plumridge Brisbane Adelaide Air Race mod.jpg

The Sparrowhawk converted to jet power. That was back when men were men and sheep were nervous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Sparrowjet
