Before you go to the trouble of moving that pesky 'hidden' breaker try one of the snap on rings that are color coded. It's not so much the color, but the difference in feel that is noticeable. You can pick them out with a quick feel, and unless you have several grouped together, there is no overriding need to visually verify before pulling the darn thing.

Where do you get them?

BTW, the reg for compliance with the POH required pre-flight check (supplied by Cap'n Ron of AOPA board fame): 91.9 Civil aircraft flight manual, marking, and placard requirements. top (a) Except as provided in paragraph (d) of this section, no person may operate a civil aircraft without complying with the operating limitations specified in the approved Airplane or Rotorcraft Flight Manual, markings, and placards, or as otherwise prescribed by the certificating authority of the country of registry

I have an S-Tec 55SX. My checklist is:
1. Turn on avionics master. 2. Turn autopilot switch to "arm." 3. Wait for BIT test to run. While doing this I do something useful, like program the flight plan in the 430. 4. Look to see if "RDY" indication is on the panel. 5. Set the heading, VSI and altitude bugs. 6. Fly.

I guess I'll have to figure out where the POH is (hint: I'm probably not the best one to assist with complying with every sh*tsnack regulation out there) That's ok. You got respect around here anyway.

I could not find an "Operation Limitations" section in S-Tech's POH. There are plenty of instructions on how to operate it, but the closest to a limitation section is section 4 - Operating Parameters. What section are you referring to?
